The next step may be the easiest, or hardest depending on your patience, and that is waiting. Fresh seeds will germinate in 30-75 days, sometimes even sooner. Check these seeds often for a radicle coming from the edge on the bottom side of the seed. The root will be the side of your pinky finger in girth. Again, a picture for reference:
