Welcome to Faulkner's Palms! Sincerely,
This spring and summer has provided us so far with ample rains, meaning healthy growth for all the plants at the nursery. Some of you may know the nursery is now located on Pine Island in Lee County, a beautiful getaway to older Florida, where the Coconuts are tall, and the surrounding water provides for a nice microclimate. Recently I have decided to expand the varieties of cycads, namely Zamia and Encephalartos, and many rare and hard to find species are offered. For those of you familiar with Florida's growing seasons, this is the best time for dropping stuff right in the ground and letting the summer rain acclimate the palm to its new environment.
I will provide a page dedicated to acclimating palms for optimal growth and making sure your palm enjoys its new home. New species available this summer include Borassus, Borassodendron, Kentiopsis, many Dypsis varieties, Pritchardias, rare Veitchias, and new, undescribed Syagrus species. Feel free to browse the site, and check out my contact page for ordering or getting ahold of me. Thanks for visiting, and have a warm and wet summer!
